Darryl Stickel, Founder
Darryl developed the trust model that is core to understanding and building trust. He takes a structured, practical, and applied approach to complex relational problems. Darryl has counselled many individuals and organizations on trust issues, including families and children in crisis; street youth at drop-in centres; and government and native groups in land claim negotiations. He has also worked with numerous companies on organizational, operational and strategic issues as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Darryl holds a PhD in Business from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, with a specialization in Organizational Behaviour, and an emphasis on conflict resolution, negotiation, justice, strategy and trust.
Frederick ‘Fritz’ Mayer
Fritz is one of the world’s leading experts on negotiation, conflict resolution and trust. Head of Graduate Studies at the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy at Duke University, Fritz has won numerous teaching awards, exhibiting a rare blend of academic excellence and teaching prowess. Fritz did his Undergraduate, Masters and PhD degrees at Harvard, working with Howard Raiffa, the father of modern negotiation theory. Author of “Interpreting NAFTA,” Fritz was centrally involved in the passing of NAFTA in the US, and is considered a leading expert on global bargaining.
