The Experts:

Darryl Stickel, Founder: Darryl developed the trust model that is core to understanding and building trust. He takes a structured, practical, and applied approach to complex relational problems. Darryl has counselled many individuals and organizations on trust issues, including families and children in crisis; street youth at drop-in centres; and government and native groups in land claim negotiations. He has also worked with numerous companies on organizational, operational and strategic issues as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Darryl holds a PhD in Business from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, with a specialization in Organizational Behaviour, and an emphasis on conflict resolution, negotiation, justice, strategy and trust.
Frederick "Fritz" Mayer: Fritz is one of the world's leading experts on negotiation, conflict resolution and trust. Head of Graduate Studies at the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy at Duke University, Fritz has won numerous teaching awards, exhibiting a rare blend of academic excellence and teaching prowess. Fritz did his Undergraduate, Masters and PhD degrees at Harvard, working with Howard Raiffa, the father of modern negotiation theory. Author of "Interpreting NAFTA," Fritz was centrally involved in the passing of NAFTA in the US, and is considered a leading expert on global bargaining.


The Management Team:

Jill Stickel, Managing Partner: Jill is a skilled manager, and has worked extensively in the realm of relationships and counselling. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work and has worked for many years with families, children and organizations on resolving difficult relationship issues. In her practice as a social worker, she has dealt with issues of trust in a wide array of situations, including individual and family counselling, child protection and substance abuse.
Hannah Dvorak-Carbone, Head of Operations: Hannah is responsible for day-to-day operations, ongoing product development and client relations, and also serves as a consultant and facilitator. She is a creative problem-solver, a detail-oriented project manager, and an excellent communicator and coach. As a consultant with McKinsey & Company, Hannah led teams of consultants and clients in the industrial, non-profit, financial and other sectors to address issues of operational effectiveness and strategy. She holds a PhD in Biology from the California Institute of Technology.
Dee Zeller, Training Coordinator: Dee is responsible for organizing and delivering the training program for facilitators and trainers. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work from East Carolina University, and has worked with families, children, and organizations to create safe and productive environments where individuals can thrive. Along with her extensive teaching and facilitation experience, Dee brings to the team her experience in program development and training in the areas of personal and organizational well-being.
